Cincinnati Children ’s CEO takes medical leave
Michael Fisher, CEO of Cincinnati Children ’s Hospital, informed employees this morning that he will take a leave of absence to be treated for cancer.
Fisher said he was diagnosed Friday with lymphoma, a cancer that begins in the cells of the immune system. Prognosis and treatment depend on the type of lymphoma, according to the U.S. Ce nters for Disease Control& Prevention.
