Routine Plain Radiographs in the Setting of Atraumatic Shoulder Pain: Are They Useful?

DISCUSSION: Plain radiographs rarely alter the diagnosis or affect management in the setting of atraumatic shoulder pain, particularly in patients younger than 50 years.
