GSK withdraws from bidding for Pfizer's consumer health care unit

GlaxoSmithKline said Friday it has "withdrawn from the process" relating to the potential sale Pfizer ’s consumer health care business.  “While we will continue to review opportunities that may accelerate our strategy, they must meet our criteria for returns and not compromise our priorities for capital allocation.” said Emma Walmsley, the CEO of GSK, in a statement.
