State to pay doctors' student loans to lure them to community health centers

MassHealth is offering to pay doctors ’ student loans to entice physicians to work for community health centers and community mental health centers. The state’s Medicaid program will spend $4.5 million on loan repayment efforts this year to encourage providers to work in community settings.
