Aluminum and food -- almost half the population tries to avoid Aluminum in everyday life

(BfR Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) After plastic, aluminium is the substance that the German-speaking population is most aware of with regard to its possible migration from packagings or containers into food products. The findings of the 'BfR Consumer Special' on aluminum show that almost one in two respondents consider this to pose a high health risk. As a result, many people avoid using aluminum if there are suitable alternatives.
