Steve Walli, UnitedHealthcare executive, dies

Steve Walli, chief executive for UnitedHealthcare-Heartland States, died Sunday. He was 58. Walli, who grew up in Columbia, Missouri, started his business career with MetLife in St. Louis selling group health insurance in the 1980s. He then moved to Houston, where he spent 13 years before returning to Missouri in 2003 to serve as CEO of United Healthcare of the Midwest. He w as named CEO of UnitedHealthcare-Heartland States in 2013.
