Lot’s of uni’s don’t rly care much about gcse’s, so if you apply strategically you will be fine. Don’t start revising for the UKCAT yet, it is much more important to get some work experience or volunteering. There are many different parts of the application so if your gcse’s aren’t great you can make up for it in other areas. If would be great to start volunteering now if you aren’t already. Ideally this would be in a hospital, care home, hospice etc, however even if you get volunteering in a charity shop this would show the same commitment. When looking for work experience, use your contacts. If you don’t have any, use other peoples!
