We compared the assessment of active synovitis in knee osteoarthritis (OA) by utilising superb microvascular imaging (SMI) and conventional power Doppler (cPD) techniques, and then correlated each technique with paients' symptoms, radiographic features and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-detected synovitis. A subgroup of participants with symptomatic knee OA underwent dynamic ultrasound assessment for semi-quantitative scores for SMI and cPD in the suprapatellar, medial and lateral parapatellar knee recesses.

Conclusion: MIV-711 was not more effective than placebo for pain, but it significantly reduced bone and cartilage progression with a reassuring safety profile. In this study, by adenovirus-mediated delivery and inducible transgenic mouse models, we demonstrate the proliferation of both HCs and SCs by combined Notch1 and Myc activation in in vitro and in vivo inner ear adult mouse models. These proliferating mature SCs and HCs maintain their respective identities. Computed tomography (CT) has been the gold standard for measuring glenoid version in patients with glenohumeral osteoarthritis or instability. However, few studies have compared measurements of glenoid version on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) versus CT. Clinicians should feel confident in assessing glenoid version on MRI in the absence of CT imaging. In fact, MRI could be comparable to CT even in cases where the entire scapula is not visible on MRI. A 5 ° difference in glenoid version between imaging modalities represents a clinically significant difference.
