Survey of Doctorate Recipients, 2015

Tables from the 2015 Survey of Doctorate Recipients (SDR) present data on the demographic characteristics, labor force status, occupations, employment, and median annual salaries of individuals with a U.S. research doctoral doctorate in a science, engineering, or health (SEH) field. The SDR is sponsored by the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES) within the National Science Foundation (NSF) and by the National Institutes of Health. NCSES significantly expanded the sample size for the 2015 SDR to produce estimates of employment characteristics by more than 200 fields of study. In addition, the SDR now represents all nationally and internationally residing U.S.-trained doctorate holders.
