Sex ‐related association of serum uric acid with inflammation, kidney function and blood pressure in type 1 diabetic patients

ConclusionsSerum UA is associated with nephropathy prevalence, albeit only in boys with T1D and may be an important risk factor for predicting diabetes‐related cardiorenal complications in these patients.
