4 π plan optimization for cortical-sparing brain radiotherapy.

CONCLUSIONS: 4π radiotherapy significantly improved cortical sparing and reduced doses to standard brain OARs, white matter, and the hippocampus. This was achieved with superior PTV dose homogeneity.
