ConclusionGastric cancers may be colonized by non‐H. pylori microbes. Detection of numerous bacterial colonies, filamentous bacteria, or fungi in biopsy material obtained from ulcerated gastric lesions should raise suspicion for underlying malignancy.This article is protected by copyright.
