Thread Starter Clinical Psychology or Graduate Medicine Follow 3 hours ago 3h ago The first time I asked someone about becoming a clinical psychologist they said I should do anything else in psychology just not that. It’s too competitive. This was a psychiatrist that told me that I’ve read on tsr that it’s harder to get in DClinPsy than graduate medicine! What?! And I know all the other paths in psychology, I am not interested in them. I have no science background - my a-levels were not biology or chemistry. When I did double science at GCSE i liked it, and my favourite module is biological psychology. I like psychology, especially when it bridges to neuroscience via cognitive neuroscience. I wish I was studying something more scientific from this biological perspective. I definitely know I am a people-person, I want to interact with people and talk about their problems.
