Bilateral gustatory sweating in the submandibular region after bilateral neck dissection successfully treated with botulinum toxin
We report a 66-year-old patient who had been referred for the management of a squamous cell carcinoma of the mobile tongue. She was treated by bilateral neck dissection and bilateral resection of the submandibular glands. Bilateral gustatory sweating in the submandibular region developed 10 years later and was successfully treated with bilateral injections of botulinum toxin type A.
