Blue Cross & Blue Shield of North Carolina's latest financials reveal higher margins

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, the state ’s largest insurer, revealed in its latest financial report that after years of losses since implementing the Affordable Care Act, it saw a higher-than-anticipated net income margin in 2017 at 7.8 cents for every dollar of revenue. Its total revenue for 2017 was $9.4 billion.
