Parental history of depression and higher basal salivary cortisol in unaffected child and adolescent offspring
There are contradictory findings regarding the associations of parental depression on the hypothalamic –pituitary–adrenal axis activity of their offspring. We aimed to explore the associations of parental depression on the diurnal salivary cortisol profile in their child and adolescent offspring.
