Comprehensive Accessible Humanitarian Assistance for Older People and People with Disabilities

HelpAge International. 09/2017 This 60-minute online course supports humanitarian actors to deliver gender-sensitive, age, and disability inclusive emergency response. It will help plan and enhance accessible assistance and safety and dignity for older women and men, and for women, men, girls, and boys with disabilities. It details how to understand the barriers experienced by older people and people with disabilities during a humanitarian crisis, and the increased exposure to risk when they do not access assistance.
