Cardinal Health closing Ohio warehouse, cutting 100 jobs

Cardinal Health Inc. is closing a pharmaceutical packaging center and a separate distribution warehouse in Zanesville, cutting 101 jobs, following an efficiency review.

The facilities will close in April, the Dublin health care distributor said in a notice this week to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

"We continually work to optimize efficiencies of our operations and, so, as a result, have made the difficult decision to close our Zanesville locat ion," the company said in a statement.
