Ascension to cut jobs at Michigan hospitals

Ascension Health reportedly is preparing to announce layoffs at its 14 hospitals in Michigan. Layoffs already have been made in at least two of the five hospitals in Ascension's St. John Providence Health System, sources told Crain's. The cuts are being made to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
