RNA biology-featuring the special issue guest editors “cancer letters”

Girish C. Shukla earned his Ph.D. degree at the Brunel University, London, UK. His Ph.D. research was involved in regulation of fragmented mitochondrial ribosomal RNAs of protozoan parasite at International Livestock Research Institute, Nairobi, Kenya and in Brunel University, London, UK. After, Ph.D. Dr. Shukla joined the laboratory of Dr. Richard A. Padgett, in Molecular Genetics, Lerner Research Institute, Cleveland Clinic, OH, USA, as a postdoctoral fellow. While working in Dr. Padgett laboratory, he demonstrated that the group II domain V could function in the human spliceosome.
