Incidence and factors contributing to postdischarge nausea and vomiting in pediatric ambulatory surgical cases

ConclusionWe found an incidence of postdischarge nausea and vomiting of 14%. Intraoperative and postdischarge opioids increase the risk, with long‐acting intraoperative opioids further accentuating the risk.
