Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrinopathy affecting reproductive aged women. However, it is often underdiagnosed. Given the long-term health risks associated with PCOS, such as infertility, diabetes, and endometrial cancer, it is important to optimize accurate diagnosis. A self-reported questionnaire that identifies women who should undergo clinical screening for PCOS could reduce the number of women who go undiagnosed and untreated and would also facilitate research on risk factors for this condition.
