Pruritic arthropod bite ‐like papules in T‐cell large granular lymphocytic leukaemia and chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia

We report the extraordinary case of a patient with MDS who developed T‐LGLL, and subsequently the MDS progressed to CMML. The patient then developed diffuse arthropod bite‐like papules and intractable pruritus.

Patients with CLD often have severe TCP (=50 ×109/L prior to conducting many procedures in these patients. Avatrombopag (AVA) is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist currently available as an alternative to platelet transfusions for the prophylactic treatment of patients with TCP and CLD undergoing a procedure. Avatrombopag (AVA) is a novel oral thrombopoietin receptor agonist recently approved to treat thrombocytopenia in patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) scheduled to undergo a procedure; it is administered orally as a 5-day treatment course. Population pharmacokinetic (PK) and PK/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) models have been developed that characterize the relationship between AVA dosing and the induced platelet count increase. This model was used to simulate platelet count changes that could be expected with a second course of AVA.

In this study, we propose a new counting method, which consists of three modules including localization, segmentation and classification. The localization of BMC is achieved from a color transformation enhanced BMC sample image and stepwise averaging method.
