Authors: Stott Reynolds TJ, Smith CJ, Lewis MR Abstract Given the high incidence of prostate cancer, there is a continuing need for advances in early detection and in effective treatments. Over the last several years, radiolabeled peptides have been developed, which can target receptors on prostate tumors with high affinity and specificity. These peptides are eliminated from normal tissues rapidly, producing high contrast for PET and SPECT imaging. Receptors of interest for tumor imaging include prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA), gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR), and αvβ3 integrin. Becau...

AbstractThe heart failure epidemic continues to rise with coronary artery disease as one of its main causes. Novel concepts for risk stratification to guide the referring cardiologist towards revascularization procedures are of significant value. Myocardial perfusion imaging using single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) agents has demonstrated high accuracy for the detection of clinically relevant stenoses. With positron emission tomography (PET) becoming more widely available, mainly due to its diagnostic performance in oncology, perfusion imaging with that modality is more practical than in the past and overco...

ConclusionAutoimmune epilepsy without obvious causative lesion on MRI can be seen in the course of anti-MOG antibody associated demyelinating disease. The subsequent emergence of tumefactive lesion closely located to the epileptic foci may suggest some association between autoimmune epilepsy and demyelinating lesions.

Conclusion 18F-FCH PET/CT has a high diagnostic power in primary hyperparathyroidism and can be used for further evaluation of patients with inconclusive neck USG and 99mTc-MIBI SPECT/CT. SUVmax of the hyperfunctioning parathyroid gland seems to be predictive of disease severity in terms of serum PTH and bone mineral densitometry results. Studies with larger patient groups are needed to support these data.

In conclusion, the present study demonstrated the feasibility of using the radiocobalt labeled anti‑EGFR affibody conjugate ZEGFR:2377 as an imaging agent for in vivo visualization of low EGFR‑expressing tumors, like PCa, and for monitoring of receptor occupancy during cetuximab therapy as well as the importance of optimal dosing in order to achieve higher sensitivity molecular imaging. AbstractClinical impact of tissue protrusion (TP) after coronary stenting is still controversial, especially in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). A total of 104 STEMI patients without previous MI who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) under intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)-guidance were included. Post-stenting grayscale IVUS analysis was performed, and the patients were classified according to the presence or absence of post-stenting TP on IVUS. Coronary angiography and single-photon emission computed tomography myocardial perfusion imaging (SPECT MPI) with99mTc tetrof...

AbstractThe precise detection of PD-1/PD-L1 biomarkers helps to predict the prognosis of corresponding immunotherapy.125I-labeled nivolumab targeting activated immune cells infiltrating the tumorous tissues was developed to evaluate the expression of PD-1 immune checkpoints. SPECT images indicated that125I –nivolumab preferentially targeted to tumor-surrounded immune cells. This radiotracer can dynamically and quantitatively characterize the in vivo expression of immune checkpoints for colorectal cancer, thereby potentially enabling the early screening of patients, monitoring the efficacy of treatme nt, and assessing...

CONCLUSION: We suppose that sleep modify the glucose counterregulatory responses with increased growth hormone, which salvage hypoglycemic status in our presented case. With this report, we would like to draw clinicians' attention to including the treatable hypoglycemia state in the differential diagnosis of episodic involuntary movements. Conclusion123I IQ-SPECT imaging significantly improved the attenuation artifact compared with C-SPECT imaging. Although the defect detectability of IQ-SPECT was inferior to that of C-SPECT,123I IQ-SPECT images with NC and ACSC met the criteria for defect detectability. Use of123I IQ-SPECT is suitable for routine examinations.
