Evaluation of bowel function in healthy children: untreated constipation is  common

ConclusionHealthy children frequently reported constipation, abdominal pain and gas‐related problems, but treatment was rare. Overall, bowel function seemed to improve during childhood, although constipation remained largely untreated.
