Associations between parity and maternal BMI in a population ‐based cohort study

ConclusionsThis study showed a 7.2% increase in overweight and obesity (BMI≥25) and a 16.4% increase in obesity alone (BMI≥30) for pregnant women in Denmark from 2004 to 2012. In addition, an increase in interpregnancy BMI was seen at every additional delivery, suggesting obesity to be an increasing challenge in obstetrics. This article is protected by copyright.
