Report: Kansas' uninsured rate drops

Kansas is making progress on lowering its uninsured rate.   The state had 239,578 people without some form of health insurance in 2016 for an overall uninsured rate of 8.4 percent, according to a new Kansas Health Institute study released Tuesday. That’s a drop from 9.2 percent in 2015, based on data compiled for the organization’s 2017 study.
