Matchmaking for cancer care

(University of Delaware) Computer scientists from the University of Delaware and Georgetown University have developed a new system to rapidly determine which cancer drugs are likely to work best given genetic markers for a patent -- the first publicly available system of its kind. This will allow doctors to better access data linking genetic factors and treatment results spread among hundreds of academic journals. This is the first publicly available system of its kind.
