Texas Rep Gohmert calls on Comey, McCabe and Ohr to be JAILED after defrauding FISA court with fake "Trump dossier"

(Natural News) Following Friday’s release of the infamous, scandal-filled FISA memo on Friday, it didn’t take long for a member of Congress to call for the obvious: Legal action against those involved in misrepresenting the fake “Trump dossier” as a legitimate piece of intelligence before the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court so the Obama administration could spy...

Authors: Van Hoecke H, Calus L, Dhooge I Abstract Middle ear damages. The eardrum and middle ear are often exposed to blunt and penetrating trauma, blasts, thermal or caustic injuries. These injuries may result in tympanic membrane perforation, middle ear haemorrhage, dislocation and fracture of the ossicular chain, perilymphatic fistula and damage to the chorda tympani and/or facial nerve. In case of life-threatening injuries and/or mass casualty incidents, middle ear trauma obviously does not take highest priority. However, middle ear lesions should be suspected and recognized as early as possible. After meticulo...

Conclusions: In this cohort of patients with operative tibial plateau fractures, sutured lateral meniscal tears, untreated medial meniscus tears, and complete MCL ruptures did not significantly affect clinical outcomes. In addition, these data suggest that obtaining a preoperative MRI in patients with tibial plateau fractures to diagnose soft tissue injuries may not alter the surgical treatment or alter patient prognosis for midterm outcomes. Level of Evidence: Prognostic Level III. See Instructions for Authors for a complete description of levels of evidence.

Objectives: To characterize the in vitro toxicity of vancomycin on articular cartilage. Methods: Osteochondral samples extracted from fresh, juvenile porcine stifle (knee) joints were exposed to vancomycin saline concentrations of 2, 5, and 10 mg/mL and compared with a saline and nonsaline treated control. Comparison of chondrocyte viability was assessed with histology examination of chondrocyte degeneration using the Mankin criteria and a live/dead staining using ethidium homodimer-2 and calcien acetoxymethylester stain and confocal laser scanning microscopy. Results: A comparison of chondrocyte viability in the c...

Purpose: To compare the visualization of the macula between spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) and swept-source OCT (SS-OCT) in gas-filled eyes. Methods: Sixty-one patients with common indications of gas tamponade, including 27 with macular holes and 34 with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment, who were treated with vitrectomy and gas tamponade were imaged using both SD-OCT (3D-OCT 2000, Topcon, Tokyo, Japan) and SS-OCT (DRI-OCT, Topcon) at 1, 3, and 7 days after the surgery. Good visualization of the macular area was defined as 1) visible foveal contour and discriminable status of hole (open or close...

Purpose: To analyze the vascular density of the choroid in a healthy population using swept-source optical coherence tomography. Methods: A cross-sectional, noninterventional study. Inclusion criteria: best-corrected visual acuity between 20/20 and 20/25, spherical equivalent between ±3 diopters, no systemic or ocular diseases, and ages ranging between 3 and 85 years. One hundred and thirty-six eyes from 136 subjects were analyzed, 86 eyes (63.2%) were from male and 50 eyes (36.8%) from female subjects. The eyes were divided into different age groups to analyze the possible age-related changes. Twelve-millimete...

Conclusion: Retinal vascular abnormalities are present in a limited proportion of patients affected by NF1 and can be considered an additional distinctive sign of the disease.

Conclusion: One-third of flat irregular PEDs in chronic central serous chorioretinopathy contained CNV. OCTA detected CNV more frequently than the other imaging modalities. Further longitudinal studies are needed to assess the indication of antivascular endothelial growth factor treatments in such cases.

Conclusions &InferencesBT can assess relative emptying differences on group level and collecting breath data for 90 minutes constitutes a lower burden for participants and the research facility. However, BT has severe shortcomings compared to MRI for individual GE assessment. Notably, food matrix effects should be considered when interpreting the results of BT. Our aim was to assess similarity in assessment of gastric emptying between 90‐min 13C breath analysis and MRI among four liquid meals. On group level both measurement methods show similar order of emptying times, however, both t50 times and rankings with...

Our objectives were to determine whether procedural pain and glucose exposure are associated with altered structural and functional brain development differently in preterm males and females, and neurodevelopment at 18-month corrected age. Fifty-one very preterm neonates (22 males; median [interquartile range] gestational age 27.6 [2.0] weeks) underwent 3 serial scans including T1-weighted and resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at median postmenstrual weeks: 29.4, 31.9, and 41.1. Thalamus, basal ganglia, and total brain volumes were segmented. Functional resting-state MRI data were extracted from the...

Primary burning mouth syndrome (BMS) is defined as an “intraoral burning or dysaesthetic sensation, recurring daily… more than 3 months, without clinically evident causative lesions” (IHS 2013). In addition to pain, taste alterations are frequent (dysgeusia, xerostomia). Although lacking clinical signs of neuropathy, more accurate diagnostic methods have shown neuropathic involvement at various levels of the neuraxis in BMS: peripheral small fiber damage (thermal quantitative sensory testing, electrogustatometry, epithelial nerve fiber density), trigeminal system lesions in the periphery or the brainstem...
