Hologic launches InSight extremities imaging system

Hologic (NSDQ:HOLX) has launched its Fluoroscan InSight FD Mini-Arm product, which is designed to help orthopedists, podiatrists and clinicians capture high-resolution images of their patients’ extremities. The system has low-dose rate modes that allow physicians to cut dose rates by up to 50% compared to auto-mode. It also features a MegaView Image setting in Review Mode, giving doctors the option to review images that are 50% larger than the original. The system also includes hardware updates, like a streamlined monitor arm, an integrated keyboard and a reduced top casting. “This new system is a significant advance in our goal to push the industry forward and provide customers with the smartest available engineering that incorporates functionally strong, user-friendly and time-efficient features,”Pete Valenti, president of Hologic’s breast and skeletal health solutions division, said in prepared remarks. “Our industry-leading innovation has led to the improved capabilities of the Fluoroscan InSight FD Mini C-Arm Imaging System, from new imaging modes to modernized hardware updates. These enhancements address major pain points and offer solutions that increase workflow and productivity, ultimately leading to a better patient experience.” The post Hologic launches InSight extremities imaging system appeared first on MassDevice.
