Investigating the bone mineral density in children with solid tumors in southern Iran: a case –control study
ConclusionVitamin D deficiency and low bone mass are prevalent among Iranian children with solid tumors. Future studies are warranted to investigate the best strategies to prevent and treat vitamin D deficiency and low bone mass in children surviving cancer.
