Bladder irrigation with Chlorhexidine reduces bacteriuria in persons with spinal cord injury.

CONCLUSION: Bladder irrigation with chlorhexidine, using intermittent self-catheterization, reduced bacteriuria in the majority of subjects with spinal cord injury and bacteriuria.
