The association between sex, age and health literacy and the uptake of cardiovascular prevention: a cross-sectional analysis in a primary care setting

ConclusionSex, age and health literacy affect engagement in healthy lifestyle choices and expectations towards preventative measure design. Consideration of these differences will allow better tailoring of preventative offers to the users ’ needs to increase their uptake.
