Iraq: Creating a Safe Place for Syrian Mothers to Give BirthJanuary 22, 2018The maternity clinic built by Doctors Without Borders/M édecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Domiz refugee camp in northern Iraq has helped Syrian women to safely deliver their babies and access care before and after they give birth. Over the past four years, MSF staff at the clinic have delivered more than 3,400 babies and provided more than 27,400 gyneco logical consultations.
