Watchdog to re-examine the safety of clot-busting stroke drug after experts found it can increase risk of bleeding on the brain 

The medicines watchdog is to review the safety of a clot-busting drug alteplase, pictured, used to treat strokes. Stoke expert Roger Shinton raised his concerns in The Lancet.
