Allscripts Hit by Ransomware, Knocking Some Services Offline

EHR vendorAllscripts was reported to have been hit by ransomware yesterday (see:Allscripts hit by ransomware, knocking some services offline). Users took to Twitter to complain about the company's cloud EHR being down, with some unable to access patient information all day. The Allscripts website and Twitter account don ’t specifically mention the outage. Instead, the company tweeted to users who specifically took to their social media accounts to voice their concerns.
