ConclusionsMinimally invasive esophagectomy with TD resection causes minor hemodynamic changes in the immediate postoperative period, without adversely affecting the postoperative outcome. In the setting of neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy, TD resection does not increase lymph node yield.
