Second-largest grant in KU's history will grow medical research footprint

A $25 million grant from the National Institutes of Health will give a big boost to The University of Kansas' research efforts. The five-year award from the NIH's National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) will support the university's efforts to discover new treatments and better understand how to prevent disease.
