Editorial Comment: An Unusual Cause of Peroneal Neuropathy

This article by Dr. Ananth and colleagues reports a patient being evaluated for symptoms consistent with a peripheral neuropathy. In addition, the patient developed an arteriovenous fistula. Genomic testing subsequently identified a COL31A mutation, which is known to be associated with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) of the vascular type.
