Plastic Surgery Foundation Pilot Research Grant Submission deadline: December 1, 2014 All Applications must be submitted online through proposalCENTRAL. Pilot Research Grant Program Eligibility Applicants must be an MD, DO, or PhD and hold a full-time clinical or research position in a U.S. or Canadian Institution. For an applicant to be eligible, they must be an Active or Candidate member of ASPS or obtain sponsorship from an Active ASPS member at your institution. If you are currently in your training, you may still apply to the program with sponsorship from an Active ASPS member at your institution. If you are currently in your plastic surgery training and you are awarded a Pilot Research Grant, for administrative purposes, The Plastic Surgery Foundation (PSF) will recognize the project’s sponsor as the Principal Investigator. Although applicants may submit more than one grant application, if the projects are scientifically different, only one project will be funded. The Pilot Research Grant is intended to support the research efforts of residents and junior faculty in order to address focused research questions, obtain preliminary data to support larger grant proposals in the future, and develop a line of research that can be carried forward into an academic career.
