Plastic Surgery Foundation Research Fellowship Submission deadline: December 1, 2014 All Applications must be submitted online through proposalCENTRAL. Research Fellowship Grant Program Eligibility Applicants must be a MD or DO and hold a full-time clinical or research position in a U.S. or Canadian Institution. Applicants must be residents or within 5 years of initial faculty appointment. The Applicant must be an Active or Candidate member of ASPS, or in training, and have the sponsorship of an Active ASPS member at your institution. The Sponsor may be the Applicant’s Project Mentor; however they are not required to fulfill both roles. The Project Mentor must be an Active ASPS member at your institution. Resident Applicants will devote 100% of their time to research training for a continuous 12-month period and may NOT be assigned to clinical rotations that satisfy residency requirements. Junior Faculty Applicants must have a minimum for 25% protected time for research. If awarded, Research Fellows may begin the Fellowship July 1, 2014 or defer funding to the following PSF grant cycle (July 1, 2015). Applicants must indicate in their proposalCENTRAL application on the “Title Page” which year they will begin their Fellowship.
