Molecular imaging technique identifies lung nodules for resection in osteosarcoma patient

(SPIE--International Society for Optics and Photonics) Utility of near-infrared molecular imaging in a patient undergoing pulmonary metastasectomy for osteosarcoma has been reported by researchers from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and Purdue University. The work is reported in an article in the Journal of Biomedical Optics published this week by SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics.
