194: Consistency in fetal movement counts near term and effects on counseling
Counting of fetal movements (FM) by the mother is considered an inexpensive yet potentially efficacious screening test to prevent adverse perinatal outcomes. However considerable variation exists in FM among pregnancies. We have explored whether variation exists within pregnancies as individual variation may translate into different instructions on threshold FM to call for adjunctive testing.
