PhD Prior to Medical School

So, I just graduated from undergrad and applied to a doctoral program. Upon reviewing my application, the school in question invited me down so they could more thoroughly "sell" their program-keep in mind this is a great school. I was always just as interested in research as I was medicine so I don't consider this a concession.
