Hospitalist Job + Outpatient GIM on week off feasible?

If one was resilient and lifestyle/time off wasn’t a huge factor, could an Internal Medicine graduate get a contract as a Hospitalist working every other week and then have their own private practice M-F on the off week and then have a golden weekend afterwards? Has anyone done this with some success. Obviously when someone gets older I’d imagine they’d burn out but initially has anyone tried this with any success and income satisfaction? Would it be feasible for patient safety to see... Hospitalist Job + Outpatient GIM on week off feasible?
