Bilateral Scheie ’s procedure with Ophthalmic Viscoelastic Device and 5-Fluorouracil

This report describes the first ever case, to our knowledge, of bilateral Scheie ’s procedures performed with retention of an ophthalmic viscoelastic device and intraoperative and post-operative 5-fluorouracil injections.DiscussionThese procedures have now successfully controlled the intraocular pressure in both of the patient ’s eyes for more than 17 years.
