Ventricular False Aneurysm after Aortic  Endograft

A 73-year-old man presented with a symptomatic 9-cm aneurysm of the aortic arch. An emergent hybrid surgical procedure including supra-aortic debranching combined with thoracic endovascular aortic repair was performed. The endoprosthesis was deployed from the ascending aorta to the proximal descending aorta using an extra-stiff double curved Lunderquist guide wire (Cook Medical, Bjaeyerskov, Denmark) through the aortic valve (Fig 1). The patient presented 7 weeks later with faintness and hypotension.
