Sonographic Identification of the Flexor Digitorum Accessorius  Longus Tendon

The purpose of this article is to review the anatomy of the flexor digitorum accessorius longus (FDAL) muscle and its sonographic appearance. To our knowledge, there is no prior publication that describes the sonographic identification or anatomy of this ankle and foot muscle variant.
