2018-19 Gap Year, Orthopedic Sports Medicine Research Fellowship, Hospital for Special Surgery, ACL Biomechanics

A one year research fellowship working with the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Biomechanics Research Team at Hospital for Special Surgery is available for the 2018-19 academic year. The research fellow will work with a close-knit team of surgeons and engineers focused on understanding the biomechanical impact of ACL injury and reconstruction on knee function and clinical outcome. The team consists of surgeons in the Sports Medicine and Shoulder Service at HSS including Drs. Thomas Wickiewicz, Andrew Pearle, and Danyal Nawabi, and Scientists within the Biomechanics Department including Carl Imhauser, PhD.
