Elevated systemic biomarkers and persistent anxiety and depression in smokers with and without COPD: An analysis of the SPIROMICS cohort
Conclusions: High levels of systemic inflammatory biomarkers are associated with persistent anxiety and depression in smokers with and without COPD, which vary based upon age and gender.
